and then builds them up again, piling on percussion beats and
keyboard riffs. The effect is exactly what the title advertises,
a wild ride that is sometimes spacey (Pulsar, U.F.O.), sometimes
brooding (Cold N'Dark), occasionally seductive (Sex in the City),
but always worth the trip. You may notice elements of everyone
from Donna Summer to Gary Numan to Ultravox to Vangelis in her
work, yet she pulls it all together beautifully, with a style
