MUSIC REVIEWS

"Gorgeous Girl, Through the Looking Glass LP - Ten nicely done tracks with an edge to them. The lead synth lines and percussion stand out well on these productions, and although some of them are a bit short, they all kick. Nice polished packaging and artwork on the CD cover too! www.divinitylee.com or www.mp3.com/gg Reaction: Good to Excellent. Personal Opinion: Excellent.

Gorgeous Girl, Wild Ride LP - This release has 12 great tracks with attitude! Standouts include UFO, with 2 very uplifting and energetic remixes, Pulsar, and Techno world. It just sounds so bloody good, not heard trance as good as this for a bit, KIX ASS!" - Darren Flinders

"EUPHORIA - A great tune! Very cool melody and very upbeat plus you can dance your ass off! Listen to more great tunes from this great artist." - NikiVee

"EUPHORIA - Atmospheric banging Melodic trance at it's most fun here with what Gorgeous Girl has obviously dedicated to her favourite DJ. Powerful, floaty, and it's got that anthemy kind of feel to it. Listen to it." - www.choonz.com

"EUPHORIA - I love this tune!!" - DJ Michael Angello

"EUPHORIA UNPLUGGED - Very nice/smooth, chill out and listen to this." - The Technician

"PLANET RAVE - Awesome tune that really puts you back in the days of Monster Raves where it was one trip after another. The distorted 303 sound was done very well, blending that Old school sound with the beat of new school. Whatever way you look at it, the technical and artistical value of this piece put it near the top. 9.5/10" - Fuzion

"PLANET RAVE - Pull out your glowsticks and get ready to rave. This song is fast and smooth with deep bass and a killer beat." - www.rave.mp3 *GLoBaL RaVeRs*

"PLANET RAVE - Not just a pretty face, excellent music. But can she cook??" - DJCirkutree

"PLANET RAVE - Just turn this one up to ten and hope to God you're neighbors aren't home. This one will rattle your walls. Hold on to your speakers. High energy dance. Very well-produced. Hard to believe it came from an SP-808." - Kenny Bissett

"PLANET RAVE - Excellent production. Nearly blew my speakers. Nice lead lines." - Richard (TV Band)

"PLANET RAVE - Hi gorgeous! The most professional song on the album (SunSongs:2001). Excellent drums. Care to share your secret?" - Gogiver

"PLANET RAVE - Strong beat, not your normal TR-808 drum beat, but it builds nicely to the lead squelch at the start. Vocals seem to have a kid-on-helium sound, but it breaks down and builds totally true to trance form, drum rolls included. Hard Tech Trance. Four stars." - Rob Vining, Hitchcrack

"PLANET RAVE - Pennsy girl with a Detroit sound, oh yeah! : ) You definitely have a knack for this. Very well-polished. You must want to get in on that Europe
fest (or maybe you already have?). This could be a serious contender. Seriously!" - John Westwood

"PLANET RAVE - Listening to Planet Rave (Club Mix)! I really like this song. The percussion work is excellent and the melodies are dancey with a trippy bassline to tie it all together. Excellent Work!" - ALTEREDVISIONZ

World Trance Radio

"U.F.O. (DJ NRG Invasion Mix) - Bringing two of my favorite extraterrestrials together. f**k!!!! What a pounding track!!!!!" - pooytiktah

"THE RAVEN - Lovin' the deep vibe on this one... at times some of the transitions seem a tad disjointed, but very good... probably the only track I heard that I would work into one of my sets... and I'm a snob when it comes to what I play." - DJ Paradigm

"THE RAVEN - For dance music, this shit is pretty damned tight and if you were so inclined to remix it, it'd make some tight ass Hip Hop for real, so get at her and learn something about orginality all you beat bitin' bastards." - S.e.P. Productions

"THE RAVEN - Amazing! Let her rule the world!" - mariel

"THE RAVEN - Great driving rhythm!" - nailed-god

"THE RAVEN - She's got legs, she knows how to use them! OOPS! I'm supposed to write a review, not flaunt my deftness at cheesy pick-up lines. Okay, here I go... When I bite into "The Raven," I get the sensation that Gorgeous Girl is putting her fingers around my neck... then slowly moving down to my waist (no lower - this is a FAMILY site, kids)... before she finally French kisses me... OOPS! Maybe this explains why I'm 21 years old and still single..." - Loopy Lizard

"THE RAVEN - She may be good lookin'... but is she that good? You be the judge..." - Cj Substandard

"THE RAVEN - Just checked out your new remix...a nice club mix with driving synthlines...nice work!" - optone

"PULSAR - Outstanding!!! This track drives like crazy. You did indeed catch the feel of a pulsar. Love the ripping bass and the strings in the background. Just when I thought U.F.O. would never be topped, looks like I may have been wrong. You rolled with this one. I highly recommend this as a download for anyone reading this." - BEAT BAKERY

"PULSAR - PHAT PHAT PHAT !!! Enuff of talk, listen!" - G.I.R.L. ]I.N.[ T.R.A.N.C.E.

"PULSAR - Good basic progressive trance. She mixes an excellent beat. High energy for the masses." - Blighted Cheeze II

"PULSAR - How progressive can you get on a trance track? This choon answers that and a whole lot more. A tumbling bassline, pulsating electro strings, and a floating atmospheric layover combine to make this one pumping track! Here's another track that should be made available on vinyl to trance fiends the world over..." - www.choonz.com

"PULSAR - The strobes will drive you mad. And then, just when you think your head will explode, the DJ will probably pull out this little baby." - 1GrooveNation

"PULSAR - My favorite GG track. She knows her synths." - Mathew Pearce

"OBSESSION - This is your best tune, GG. The track sounds great, very trancey... Killer groove coming out of the bassline. I give it a solid 8 out of 10." - Venus & Wrik

"MAKE LOVE TO ANALOG - I'm not the dancing type, but I could easily hear this in a club. I'm sure it's already being played somewhere." - Agent Trip

"MAKE LOVE TO ANALOG - Cool, bouncy, clean sample. Sounds like something most clubs would pound the shit out of... real clean production." - Cris

"MAKE LOVE TO ANALOG - Strong trance track, good vibing bass line. Liked the squelched synth line that comes in around 1:00. Great track." - Rob Vining

"MAKE LOVE TO ANALOG (ESSENTIAL MIX) - A nice rave track with some brilliant vocals in there. One of my favorites from Gorgeous Girl. This is a tune for all you ravers out there ;) " - DJ Find

"MAKE LOVE TO ANALOG (ESSENTIAL MIX) - What a great way to start a station! 'Make Love to Analogue', yeah, i already love analogue synths even though I don't have any of the ones Gorgeous Girl has (check links on her page where she writes about her studio equipment and techniques:) The sample with the voice saying the aforementioned sentence is what makes this track stand out, of course it has good beats and phat synth sounds (Analogue). Very positive vibe/groove goin' on here & probably a great dance track:D" - freakcontrol

"SEX IN THE CITY - Gorgeous!! mmmmmmmmmmmm" - DJ NRG

"TECHNO WORLD - Uptempo, uplifting anthem with tight production from the gorgeous Divinity Lee, a familiar name on the mp3 circuit. This one's destined for the dancefloor." - Aden Jay

"TECHNO WORLD - Ever watch the old 60's TV show 'Lost in Space?' The background melody in this song made me envision that, and all those old skool sci-fi shows, traveling through space. Of course the Spacey-Sci-Fi-Leap-Chords is but a single of the many elements in this cool, catchy dance tune!" - kevinhead

"TECHNO WORLD - I didn't like the small, squelchy bassline at the beginning, but from 0:30, the track blew my socks off. And, after 1:05, it's 100% aural delight. Great production, great mix, great synth palette all sum up to a great track!" - Optone Project

"TECHNO WORLD - Techno World is f*cking awesome, excellent, well done!" - plastik-skouser

"TECHNO WORLD - Starts out hard driving and flows into something more melodic with plenty of mind candy to keep you groovin'." - Lady Hypnotist

"TECHNO WORLD - I downloaded your song, Techno World, a few weeks ago, and I'm still listening to it. Great work!" - Aaron

"TECHNO WORLD - This track's got some great filter builds and beats. It's the small layers in the background that caught my attention. The drone in the background throughout the song was well placed. Great ending." - Rob Vining

"METROPOLIS - Phantasmal hard house/techno with the best squelching bassline that I've heard for quite some time. This track is a bit of a personal instant classic, so check it out!" - Descend Here

"METROPOLIS - Dis 1 of dem songz U close UR eyez & just get lost in dance 2. I luv da ol skool hi-hat along wit the hand clap. Dis chick iz hot... GOOD WORK, Gorgeous Girl!" - DJ TOOFINE

"METROPOLIS - If this squelching bassline doesn't affect your groove nerves you might be dead. Reverend Dowrong heard this track and yelled 'HELL YEAH!!'" - DJ b.i.g.r.o.d

"IT'S A FEELING - The piano trax on dis song annoys U but makes U luv it at the same time. I wuz like man that shyt is annoying then I found myself singing dat shyt on da way 2 work. Dis is a good trax." - DJ TOOFINE

"IT'S A FEELING - Slick acid that goes down like fire but keeps you coming back for more. A true pelvic pulser." - pooytiktah

"E-SENSATION - WHOOO. I am listening to it right now. This is so HOT!!! Got a sorta Old/New school club sound. I love the 'Sensation' sample along with all the other classic vocal drops. The beat is Bangin' and one thing I can honestly say is it is constantly changing. Dropouts... breakdowns... samples flying in and out keep this flowing from start to stop. Taking me back. Another recommended download." - Trance Projection aka Science2 aka Robotic Smoove

"ANGELS' DANCE - Your songs are wonderful. I love them. My favorite song is Angels' Dance. With this song, I feel like flying. Thanks for your music. I love you!!" - Atlan (Germany)

"ANGELS' DANCE - Interesting, moody chord progression opening, love the poly lead over the top. Nicely understated rhythm behind that liquid synth bass. Great wash pad backing in the second section, like the congas running around in there, and the high-pitched counter bleeps happening over the top. Good easy listener, not too loud, and still makes you want to dance." - ArtBrut

"ASCENSION - I've just been checking out your tracks on MP3.com. There's some stomping stuff there. I liked Ascension. Really uplifting and you're gorgeous." - FBP

"ASCENSION - Philadelphia has long been one of the sources of serious dance music makers. From small beginnings, many have risen to the top and gone on to produce hundreds of hits. Sounds to me like its time for another round of hits from Philly." - Patrick Adams, legendary music producer

"LIFT - Listening to Lift. The track sounds good. The bass drum is very deep with nice percussion overlayed on top and the synth line sounds very hypnotic." - ALTEREDVISIONZ

"FROM THE HEART - Well, when I saw this girl I agreed with the name of the group. And what a heart this song has come from. Possibly one of the best artists I have listened to on MP3.com which is why she's ended up on this radio station. This track's sweet. Definitely worth a download." - kiss fm

"FROM THE HEART - Kinda old school Robert Miles-ish. Laid back and dreamy." - Justin Bailey

"COLD N'DARK - It's always good!!!" - Plugged into Incredible Drum n Bass station

"COLD N'DARK -Fell for the main theme in this one, which just gets stuck on my brain. Some other cool synth sounds featured as well, i.e. the one that pans left to right:) Chose this track also because it's the only one that's in the Tech Step gengre and therefore has more variation in the beats. Gorgeous Girl produces all her own music and has had one of her tracks (Techno world) played on the MTV show, The Osbournes." - freakcontrol

"BEAT THIS - Excellent drum-n-bass!!" - Global Lounge Grooves station

"GORGEOUS! - The Drum n Bass in this song makes it stand out like... like... well, go to her page and you tell me. I can't quite put my finger on what I like about this one, but like it I do and there ain't much I can do about it. It reminds me of Joy Division/New Order, but obviously a lot dancier." - United Federation of Dance

"LOVE WILL FIND A WAY - Very cool. Very happy. Happy rules." - H.G.L.

"LOVE WILL FIND A WAY - Wow! Excellent track." - Fred L. Holtz, Ph.D.

"THE OCARINA - This has some great percussive work in it, flawless production (yet again) ... dare I say a lot like a cross between Hard House and great TRibalgrooVes. This would get a floor goin' on let me tell you. I am particularly impressed by the percussive filter work in this too. A mate of mine in Sydney'll dig this one BIGTIME... you've definately got it goin' on girl." - FaxOrgy

"THE OCARINA - The production is absolutely crystalline and that filter work really slays, too. I'm listening through headphones and the effect is quite visceral, like being hurtled from room to room at different rates of speed." - Green Man

"SPEED - I'm not even vaguely into dance stuff, but I have to say... that track is a seriously nasty monster and had to try very very very hard to stop leaping around the room (and probably would have if I didn't have cans on at the time). Class stuff." - WuPPerTaL

From ET: "Divinity, with talents such as yours, I'm surprised a lot of people haven't heard more about you. I recently began subscribing to MP3.com and that is where I first heard your compositions. Believe it or not, there are more people my age (55) who find your selections (not to mention yourself) attractive and quite enjoyable than you'd realize. May I suggest that you significantly expand your web site to include more content? I wish you very much success and keep up the excellent work."

From Tashi: "The music people create can be almost a mirror of their personality and their spirit. I mean, it's like taking raw energy and shaping it into something tangible to show people a piece of yourself. You are, by far, the most interesting personality I've listened to. I could just give a typical review, but you're good. You're very good and you know that. But I will say that your mixing skills, and the way you put blend different parts and sounds together, are impeccable. I went to college with a DJ from Miami back in the 80's and once at a party he mixed Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam and Madonna. That shit was so smooth. If you didn't know better, you would think it was one song. He was second to none with the rare ability to mix not just songs, but different sounds and textures. He could literally mix the unmixable. Your style reminds me of him quite a bit. Well, good luck, keep it up, and I'll be listening. Peace GG."

From Frankenstynexxx: "One sexy bitch."

From Clint: "I just wanted to let you know that I think your music is awesome and that you yourself are gorgeous. If you're ever coming to Edmonton, Canada, let me know so I can definitely come see you."

From scorpio-3: "Gorgeous girl, you are a hottie. No offense. You really look beautiful in your pictures."

From Charles: "I just discovered your music on MP3 and am utterly in
love! Your song, Planet Rave (Extended Club Mix ), totally blows me away! I completely adore it, want it, gotta have it. Can I get it on vinyl? I do some spinning and want to throw it in the mix. Thanks so much for knocking me stupid with
pure pleasure!"

From DJ Find: "Hi, I have been listening to your tunes since I first got on the net and before I decided to create my own electronic music. I think all of your tunes are tops and I have even added you to my artist links section, because your music is that good."

From DJ Carlos, CFRC FM 101.9: "Hello Divinity! Hope all is well and you're putting out even more fantastic tunes! As a fan, let me say again that the Techno Goddess reigns supreme!"

From Chris M: "How do I write to you without sounding too typical, like all of the emails you get... hmmm... your music's shit, all of your songs are dead as a dead thing, and you're not gorgeous at all. Well, I guess that never worked so I have to tell the truth... great tracks, great page, nice name, and you are a very gorgeous girl. There!!!"

From Jared: "Hello Gorgeous Girl, I just wanted to drop a line in and say great job on your music. Excellent. It sounds amazing. I will be coming back for more = ). Me, I just got into producing rave almost a year now. I do basic recording. I dont have a lot of money to buy equipment, but I do the best with what i have. I'm happy I've picked up on some great people and their music. Keep the songs coming!"

From Vince A: "Hi Divinity. My name is Whey Cooler from Pretty Poison fame. I'm sitting here with Mare aka Mariel and we were listening to some of your songs. Very Hot!!"

From Marcello: "Hey, I love your music!!!"

From Joel: "I just wanted to say, thanks for having great music. I see you're in the top 40 and for good reason! Good luck and best wishes GG."

From Allen: "Hi, I love your songs. They have a great energy level yet you do not get pulled down into the rhythm itself. Please keep up your hard work. I listen to a lot of Bassic and 303Infinity. Bassic is awesome ambient sound and 303Infinity pumps up the action. Yours so far is the only one that seems to know how to work the two together without getting pulled too much into one mood or the other. Good luck and I look forward to your future works! : ) "

From Bones & Dingus: "Yes, you are the RAVE Queen of MP3.com!"

From Bodice: "Hi Divinity! I read your message on the MP3.com bulletin board about the weird emails from someone. So I decided to visit your web site. Let me be permited to say that you are an educated, successful, and good looking young lady and I wish you the best of luck."

From Screaming Lord Giffnock: "Love your gear and your work!"

From Eric: "I really like your music a lot. It shows passion and great programming skills. My favorite song you produced is Angels' Dance. I love the filter sweeps in the back plus the soft but effective use of choirs. Did you use your EIV on this one? Stuff I use: Emulator II/II+HD, Emulator III (2x), EIV, Kurzweil K2500S, K5m, D-550, DPX-1, Fairlight CMI Series III, RY-30, LinnDrum and lots of other stuff. Thanks for your music and good luck. Don't forget to have fun, too!"

From FaXOrgy: "Great production (need I say more). You made a 32+ old school techno fiend very happy. Very clubby with a nicely saturated warehouse ambience. Make Love to Analog sounds almost amphetamine fueled. Techno World reminds me a lot of early L.FO./U.H.F/Altern8/Bizzare Inc etc... ahh nostalgia."

From Jack Cobb: "Yes, that IS a gorgeous girl... I played UFO (the first, not the NRG remix) and enjoyed it. My kids were bouncing about (summer, no school, drat!). I especially enjoyed the thematic shift around two minutes. It's interesting how much variety one can coax out of repetition! I'm not (as everyone who knows me knows) a big electronic music fan. I'm more into organic, bluesy rock with lyrics and attitude - but this was a fun trip. Thanks for sharing, Divinity, and best wishes!"

From Adam: "You freakin' rule... that's all got to say... I have been a raver for 2 years... stopped all the partying though, but still love to dance and listen to techno and trance... you bring all the good feelings back without anything extra but the music... you don't know what kind of memories that means for me... thanks :) "

From Chris: "Keep me updated with u're latest. I'm an aspiring DJ and I like u're style. U just need a little more bass in u're music and u'll be unstoppable."

From M.: "You have some talent, WOW! Great songs and you have some... er... nice equipment... but I'm sure you hear that a lot."

From Peter: "Hi Divinity, I stumbled across your site via AmpCast. I've always loved electronic music and music with a strong beat but I've never been in the club scene. I've been piecing together a little electronic music studio for a few years now and I'm always happy to find information on how other people work and do things and I think your studio tips are super great! It's real knowledge and advice that people of any level can use. And best of all... to top it all off your music kicks ass!! It's an inspiration to see talented people succeed in this world."

From Antonio: "I am truly a lover of all music and I love your music and you."

From Christopher: "It figures, I just moved to Ohio from Philadelphia and I finally discovered your music here in Ohio. Too bad or I would have heard you play there for sure. I lived at 1600 Walnut Street. I think your music is awesome! Good Luck and let me know if you ever have a gig in Ohio. Cleveland has some nice clubs that have live acts. Metropolis in particular."

From Ronnie Matthews aka Captain Kirk, Starfleet Music Pool & Enterprises: "Got your CD, HOT! Great dance music! Are you or your company going to be doing any vinyl on any of these cuts? Very hot cuts on all of this CD!"

From Barry: "I just had a listen to some of your tracks and read your interview on MP3.com, I especially liked the pictures, you look amazing. Your tracks are awesome."

From DJ Carlos, CFRC FM 101.9: "Hello Divinity! Well during my show when I was playing The Raven and after it was aired I had about 4 calls saying that they LOVED the sound from Philly and also where could they buy a copy of your work. I said the site addy and one guy was so hooked he wanted to know if he could borrow my disc. Hee heee hee. Well, I'm definitely going to play more of your work, without a doubt. I like it as does a majority of fans here."

From Dave: "Hey Divinity. I really like your music, good stuff. Keep it up."

From Greg Rule, Editor in Chief of Keyboard Magazine: "We've been sifting through the dozens of contest entries, and yours [Techno World] has made it into the finalist bin. We haven't picked the first winner yet, but I wanted you to know that your track was a standout. [two weeks later] A quick update about our demo contest. Collectively, the Keyboard staff picked the April issue winner last week, a guy named Marcus Magellan from Florida. You were one of the finalists, though.
You should have seen all the editors crammed in my office, dancing to your
track!"

From Ken: "The new album sounds great. I have ordered a copy. Hope you tour Ireland at some point (before you make it too big and the tickets end up being the £250 that was being asked for Moby and U2 last month when it sold out in 45 minutes). Only a matter of time until your albums start being picked up around the clubs over here."

From Kenne: "Hey Divinity! OMG!!! Your music is soooo cool!!! I just backed you. I noticed your message on the forum and let me just say thanks for being so sweet for trying to help promote other artists by doing this. You're a STAR and I wish you all the best with your career!"

From TKnFUSION: "Hey I heard your Halloween groove, it beats."

From Jean-Remy: "Bonjour ! :o) I have just heard some your incredible remixes !! I do not know if remixing is one of your passions... I am the webmaster of a french artist named Ysa Ferrer. She is very famous here. Ysa and I want to open a MP3 gallery with plenty of remixes... Would you like doing a mix for us ? It is not a commercial proposition. Only because we have loved your job and we would be proud to have one of your compositions on ysaferrer dot com. For the moment, Ysa is working on her third album, Lovarium, wich will be released at the beginning of next year in Europe and in the US..."

I've been visiting your page for a long time to listen, but I especially like to see the terrific graphics and page design that you always have. I like the latest artist pic. Great tunes too. You'll probably break the 500,000 listen mark tommorrow. You can't fool that many people!"

From Sneaky Alien: "Hi, can I marry you? You are beautiful. We can make beautiful techno together. Seriously, you're cool!"

From Jari Ylamaki aka Yrde: "Your song, Pulsar, just blows my mind. It's an AWESOME song. So simple and yet so complex. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!"

From TechnoMonster: "I had few of your songs on my station. I really dig Metropolis. I dropped Metropolis at a party a couple months back and people loved it. I had to remaster it, because you turned off the download option. I hope you're not mad that I snagged it. Great stuff! I think you're one of the best female electronic artists!"

From Peter A., O.D.: "HI! I just want to let you know I heard your music and I like it! I downloaded six of your MP3's and am making a CD of your stuff! Thank you for providing this music. I'm amazed that I stumbled across your music by following a link from PhillyMusic.com, which I came to from a web site for Marrow, a creative metal band (www.marrowmusic.com) which I saw in concert at the Lone Star Bar this past September, along with a group called the Flower Kings. Anyway, in addition to progressive rock (Flower Kings, Marrow), I enjoy trance and other dance music, even though I am a very conservative 42 year old optometrist (eye doctor) and family man. Yeah, I'm in church every Sunday with the wife and kids, but I love investigating creative music, especially with the computer. I came accross Astral Projection via MP3.com and they just blew me away and now I can say the same for your music! THANKS AGAIN, Gorgeous Girl!"

From m2o3: "Gorgeous Girl.. I checked out your tunes. God DAYOM, girl!! You got some BANGIN' beats. :high five: Kudos for your innovative, bootyshakin' beats. Love it."

From brainprobe: "Continued success to you always."

From Casey Moo: "By the way -- if that's really you in all of the pictures, and I'm guessing it is, --- you sure are easy on the eyes! -- Plus you have great musical taste and talent ---a wonderful catch for somebody :) Gorgeous Girl is an accurate moniker to be sure!"

From djmakke: "Hello there. Nice stuff you've got. Okay, I'm not into techno that much, but the tracks I listened to were very good!"

From chrisk23: "was checking out your site & your music f@#*ing rocks out!! Is the song Wicked up for remix? if so, we would love a stab at it (me & my partner are old school rave djs circa 1992!). please let us know. good luck and to a bright future"

From Helge: "Love your Wicked (Zah Ah) and I am happy to see your songs climbing the charts again. Your music is so positive, sexy and vibrating!"

From impella5: "Hunz you KICK ASS!!!"

From dj drama: "Hi g girl! I love your stuff, pumping & stomping, yeah, yeah. I am sure you are a very talented person, your sound is perfect, have you released any tracks on vinyl???? I want to buy."

From MusikStudioWiz: "Hello and how are you? I hope you are fine. First and foremost, I would like to say that if that picture on the album cover is you, you are PAST GORGEOUS YOU ARE A GODDESS! and to be into music like that makes you an even more lovely force. I am so proud that you are putting Philly on the map as far as dance music goes. All it is known for is its R&B, soul, and rap
and technically you blew it up on MP3.com."

From simbasounds: "What struck me most about GG (more than her obvious talent, brillance, and looks) is a remark she made somewhere that had nothing to do with music (I cannot recall where I read it) - that the most important thing is to RESPECT EVERYONE whoever they are... I also get that sense reading her responses on (motifator.com). That, in a nutshell, tells me WHO she is and why she is where she is today. No question she will keep growing in all aspects of her life."

From Robert Kim: "Just wanted to say nice work on these songs. I especially liked Kinetic Theory. You've got a fresh approach to life as well as music that is inspiring. Keep it up."

And now an "un-fan mail" I created by gluing together the few negative responses I've received over the years. They all sound the same, so they're probably written by the same person:

From John: "You think all of your fame on MTV makes you great? Are you starting to believe all the shit they say about you? You probably slept with a bunch of people at MTV to get your songs on their shows! You think any of these reviews mean anything? People probably just come to you or come at you because of your looks, not your music!"

Hmmm... I guess this person has never heard of Britney Spears, Christine Aguilera, or Shakira? They've got millions of dollars invested in their image. I think I do pretty well with the limited resources I have. If it's talent he thinks I lack, let it be known that I can do real-time fader moves and knob tweaks with the best of them. As for sleeping with MTV folks, well, you can ask Ozzy Osbourne and his wife if it's true!
