beautiful! Yummy!!"
From P. Inder: "Hi Gorgeous,
I don't know your music, but your website is very impressive.
I'll get a CD from your site after Christmas. 10/10 for self-marketing!!"
From Deklax: "I just started
to listen to your stuff recently and I figure I have got to send
you a note cause it kicks ass. I've only been learning how to
mix trance for a few months, so I still completely suck but,
hey, you got to start somewhere, right? Anyways, sweet music,
I'm definitely buying your CD :) "
From Justin: "I was browsing
through the Rave/Old skool charts and saw Planet Rave. I listened
to it and fell in love instantly! It's wonderful! I went to your
page on MP3.com and listened to more of your music. You're truly
a spectacular artist and I can't wait to purchase Wild Ride and
hear more of your rave music."
From DJ KEI: "Wow, your
music is awesome! Gonna have to buy! Excellent Job!!!"
From Shaggy: "You are hot,
talented, and beautiful with great music and rhythm. Good luck,
Gorgeous!"
From Positive Trance: "I
just had my first listen to your new song called Sex in the City.
Very, very nice track. Do you remember that old Detroit song
called French Kiss? Reminds me of that."
From R. Beyer and J. Ellsworth:
"Just caught your stuff on New Songs. Nice!"
From James: "I liked your
songs so much I downloaded a few of them. Well, email me back
and wow you are absolutely gorgeous!"
From an anonymous DJ: "I
AM ENTRANCED BY YOU. You re not only without a doubt, the most
beautiful, sensual woman on MP3.com, but your music hypnotizes
me. I listen to each track every day. All I can say is YUMMY
YUMMY YUMMY. I'm at a loss for words. DAMN!!! You're gorgeous.
Hey! I bet that's why you are 'Gorgeous Girl,' huh?"
From Avalo: "I was checking
out your page, and listened to several songs. I really liked
Sex in the City. Cool song, very sensual."
From Eternalsun: "Those
pictures (from the Henri David Halloween Ball) are phenomenal!!!!!
You have a great artistic eye!! Thank you! Now my friends can
visit your website!! Now they will see that I didn't make this
stuff up!!! You are a great musician first and foremost !! Keep
up the good work!! I will be listening for more and encouraging
others to visit your website!! Hope to see you next year at the
ball. I'll listen to your music and pick out some stuff to buy
when I listen for a while from your website!"
From DJ Brambo: "Cool tunes
u got there! Keep up the good work!!! By the way, you ARE gorgeous
:) "
From Derrick: "Hey, you
are pretty good. I haven't seen to many girls in the industry,
but you really know your gear. Nice legs! Ohhh momma!"
From Nalatham: "Nice job,
I've been listening to some of your MP3's. MMMMMmmmmmhhhhhHHHHHH....."
From Mike19: "Gorgeous Girl,
first off, yes, you DEFINITELY live up to the name, but I'm sure
you've heard that before. :-) Anyway, I'm TOTALLY diggin' your
tracks, especially U.F.O. and Planet Rave!"
From xray-specs: "I really
like your choon *TECHNO WORLD*. I've added it to my station and
put a link to you on my artist page."
From f0kis: "The sh** you
got on here for download is pretty phat. I've heard some females
spin at a few parties and you top it off. Good job, yer d0pe.
I'd love to see you spin at a rave. Too bad you don't perform
live. But, oh well, I guess I could settle for buying your CD."
From Derek: "I really like
your music. It is very moving. I would like to make remixes of
some of your trax, if I may do a little touch-up to already beautiful
music. I am a DJ in Texas and I play a lot of trance and hard
house music. I work for a radio station where I do the mix show
coordinating and assisting the music director. Let me know how
I can help you and your music get out here in the world."
From Aquarius: "Hello Gorgeous
Girl, not only are you gorgeous, but nice work on Gothic. This
is true trance. Reminds me of the groundbreaking style prevalent
in Sunbeam and Kosmonova productions. Keep up the good work and
I'll keep you in mind at Street Parade '01 in Zurich, Switzerland."
From Grant: "I love your
stuff. Are you going to come out with a new CD soon? And what's
this I hear about you signing your CDs?"
[That's right! Autographed CD's!
Order them from this web site!]
From bionic booty: "Glad
to see your success. Hope it keeps growing."
From G. Ward: "Found your
site, very cool techno."
From Fevertech: "GG, congrats
on the #1 spot on Detroit. :) "
From John: "Hey there! I
am not tryin' to get you to listen to my music, I promise. YOU
ARE AWESOME! YOU ARE ON MY LEVEL OF TRANCE/TECHNO STYLE! Those
are the facts."
From Dr Lumis: "I love Techno
World. Excellent composition. Great feel. Nice One."
From Beat Bakery: "Hey GG...
its me, Beat Bakery. I just had to say that you outdid yourself
with Techno World. I have to give SUPER credit where its due.
I LOVE THIS !!! It is pumpin' so hard that I can't help but move.
This is without a doubt a STORMER. Keep in contact and let me
know when your next jam is on your page. SUPERB WORK !!"
From ET: "Divinity, with
talents such as yours, I'm surprised a lot of people haven't
heard more about you. I recently began subscribing to MP3.com
and that is where I first heard your compositions. Believe it
or not, there are more people my age (55) who find your selections
(not to mention yourself) attractive and quite enjoyable than
you'd realize. You need to find someone who has market finesse
enough to give your music more exposure -- not to mention yourself
as well. May I suggest that you significantly expand your web
site to include more content? I wish you very much success and
keep up the excellent work."
From Ken: "One word... RIPPIN'.
We need artists like you here in Florida. No one here can even
touch your talent. Gotta' go, still listening to your tracks."
From Descend Here: "I just
checked out a stack of your tunes, and there is some great stuff
in there! I especially enjoyed Planet Rave and Metropolis (nice
squelchy bass happening there!). I'm gonna' put Metropolis on
my station Dance Till Tomorrow, 'cos it's brilliant. Keep pumping
out the great tunes,"
From Craig: "Wow, you really
have some cool songs on your page... I really dig this, very
well done! Keep it up. Keep it real!"
From dangerdeep: "Rubber
Love rocks!"
From Genuine Article: "I'm
feelin' your tracks and remixes! Great work and production! I
also noticed that you are a Philadelphia artist. It's good to
see Philly cats represent! ALL PHILLY CREW HOLD TIGHT!! Keep
up the good work!"
From spooky of WYBF: "I
got your CD in the mail today and I added it to the station...
It's so good... I love it... Techno goddess? Yup! It should be
getting play within a few days. It'll be on our local show, our
electronica show, and our daytime shows!"
From Derek: "Your songs
are great! Your songs are amazing!"
From DJ NEMESIS: "I've listened
to your track, TECHNO WORLD, and I think it's a great track,
really high-quality."
From TX_banshee: "I checked
out your Sex In The City video and was very impressed. Your handle,
Gorgeous Girl, sure does fit (guys, this girl is a BABE!). I
thought that the whole presentation was very artistic. Great
Job!!!"
From Heather: "Hey, I just
wanted to tell you that I happened to stumble onto your music
on MP3.com looking for other techno artists... and you rock...
seriously, your music is awesome. I totally support ya',"
From Jilted: "You truly
are a gorgeous girl! That's no lie!"
From Jon: "I love your mix
baby, even if you have a lot of boys working for you. I'd like
to be your boy. I need a girl like you to keep me a secret and
you get to make all the rules."
From DJ Pulse: "I have been
returning to your site day in and day out. I can't stop listening
to your rave tunes, especially Planet Rave. It brings back memories
of the good days, the days of rave. Please make more music like
this."
From 1Groove: "I listened
to your stuff and fell in love with Pulsar. It's definitely one
of those songs that will get you high on the dancefloor. Keep
the good stuff coming."
From Telepath Productions: "Had
a listen to some of your tracks. Some excellent work, especially
Sex in the City."
From Tashi: "The music people
create can be almost a mirror of their personality and their
spirit. I mean, it's like taking raw energy and shaping it into
something tangible to show people a piece of yourself. You are,
by far, the most interesting personality I've listened to. I
could just give a typical review, but you're good. You're very
good and you know that. But I will say that your mixing skills,
and the way you put blend different parts and sounds together,
are impeccable. I went to college with a DJ from Miami back in
the 80's and once at a party he mixed Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam
and Madonna. That shit was so smooth. If you didn't know better,
you would think it was one song. He was second to none with the
rare ability to mix not just songs, but different sounds and
textures. He could literally mix the unmixable. Your style reminds
me of him quite a bit. Well, good luck, keep it up, and I'll
be listening. Peace GG."
From Frankenstynexxx: "One
sexy bitch."
From Jiga: "Hi Divinity,
Jiga from Analog Pussy here. Wanted to say I love Techno World.
I am extra proud of you, since not too many girls are actually
producing. I wish there were more of us. Keep rocking girl."
From uchtyman_2000: "How
many men have fallen in love with you and your music?"
From Kenny: "Not only are
you a girl with the skills, but now you have an access Virus.
You go girl!"
From Jes: "Wow! I was so
impressed with the creativity in Planet Rave. Not only are you
beautiful, but you really are a musical wonder."
From aegirl72281: "I love
your songs! They are all awesome! The beat is cool. Some of my
favorites are Metropolis, U.F.O., Pulsar, and Techno World. Good
stuff."
From riley: "Hey, I love
your work (and your pictures are good too). I love seeing beautiful
women that can not only prove themselves musically, but kick
ass at it."
From DJ Brainstorm: "I thought
about it and I must say that you are more goddess then Nina ;)
You are THE TECHNO GODDESS ! ;) "
From Terence: "Hi, I've
noticed that your music is doing great on MP3.com and I'm sure
on many other places as well! I've heard your stuff and it's
very potent! Congratulations on your success thus far!"
From ejmarrionette: "Wow!
You're beautiful! And your music kicks! I love the way it sounds.
Us girls will one day rule the world... if not already."
From MinusChibiJoker: "You
make the best techno I've ever heard!!! And, just my opinion,
you are THE gorgeous girl!"
From b0nez6969: "Dope tracks...
Good work... Keep it up, kid... Hey, you single? Looks like you
need some lovin'... LOL... just playin'... peace."
From Neuralman: "Hi Gorgeous
Girl - Nice tracks! Keep it RAD!"
From DJ Mala: "Hi Gorgeous
Girl, DJ Mala from M-Studios/Germany here. With regard to music,
we have corresponded in the past. I recently listened to your
new track, It's a Feeling. I will say this once. We must work
together sometime. You do really good work. I will return to
your page soon."
From DJ Eric Wilens: "Your
music is great! Please send me a CD to spin on my broadcast and
webcast specialty show RetroActiVE."
From pooytiktah: " 'ello
- 'ello, Listened to your new acid song and it builds wonderfully.
As always, your music makes my body move in ways I never thought
it could. Great to see you are doing well. Peace."
From mymemusic: "I love
your music. You're a hottie!"
From Erik: "Hey, ggirl,
yes, you are definitely gorgeous. What's really cool is that
your music is great, too. I really enjoyed it. I think UFO and
the other similarly titled one were my favorites."
From bjorx-sweden: "Hi!
I'm just amazed how a good-looking girl like you can produce
even better music. Are you sure you're producing it all by your
self? =)
Five [*****] stars outta' five!!! Great going, babe... keep on
doin' it."
From alibadahill: "You're
so hot! I love your music! Keep in touch baby! Keep up the good
work!"
From IznastY: "Damn, you're
pretty hot."
From Low-G: "Personally,
I think the synth sounds you make sound much better than a lot
of the real analog synths."
From Clint: "I just wanted
to let you know that I think your music is awesome and that you
yourself are gorgeous. If you're ever coming to Edmonton, Canada,
let me know so I can definitely come see you."
From scorpio-3: "Gorgeous
girl, you are a hottie. No offense. You really look beautiful
in your pictures."
From Charles: "I just discovered
your music on MP3 and am utterly in
love! Your song, Planet Rave (Extended Club Mix ), totally blows
me away! I completely adore it, want it, gotta have it. Can I
get it on vinyl? I do some spinning and want to throw it in the
mix. Thanks so much for knocking me stupid with
pure pleasure!"
From DJ Find: "Hi, I have
been listening to your tunes since I first got on the net and
before I decided to create my own electronic music. I think all
of your tunes are tops and I have even added you to my artist
links section, because your music is that good."
From DJ Carlos, CFRC FM 101.9:
"Hello Divinity! Hope all is well and you're putting out
even more fantastic tunes! As a fan, let me say again that the
Techno Goddess reigns supreme!"
From Chris M: "How do I
write to you without sounding too typical, like all of the emails
you get... hmmm... your music's shit, all of your songs are dead
as a dead thing, and you're not gorgeous at all. Well, I guess
that never worked so I have to tell the truth... great tracks,
great page, nice name, and you are a very gorgeous girl. There!!!"
From Jared: "Hello Gorgeous
Girl, I just wanted to drop a line in and say great job on your
music. Excellent. It sounds amazing. I will be coming back for
more = ). Me, I just got into producing rave almost a year now.
I do basic recording. I dont have a lot of money to buy equipment,
but I do the best with what i have. I'm happy I've picked up
on some great people and their music. Keep the songs coming!"
From Vince A: "Hi Divinity.
My name is Whey Cooler from Pretty Poison fame. I'm sitting here
with Mare aka Mariel and we were listening to some of your songs.
Very Hot!!"
From Marcello: "Hey, I love
your music!!!"
From Joel: "I just wanted
to say, thanks for having great music. I see you're in the top
40 and for good reason! Good luck and best wishes GG."
From Allen: "Hi, I love
your songs. They have a great energy level yet you do not get
pulled down into the rhythm itself. Please keep up your hard
work. I listen to a lot of Bassic and 303Infinity. Bassic is
awesome ambient sound and 303Infinity pumps up the action. Yours
so far is the only one that seems to know how to work the two
together without getting pulled too much into one mood or the
other. Good luck and I look forward to your future works! : )
"
From Bones & Dingus: "Yes,
you are the RAVE Queen of MP3.com!"
From Bodice: "Hi Divinity!
I read your message on the MP3.com bulletin board about the weird
emails from someone. So I decided to visit your web site. Let
me be permited to say that you are an educated, successful, and
good looking young lady and I wish you the best of luck."
From Screaming Lord Giffnock:
"Love your gear and your work!"
From Eric: "I really like
your music a lot. It shows passion and great programming skills.
My favorite song you produced is Angels' Dance. I love the filter
sweeps in the back plus the soft but effective use of choirs.
Did you use your EIV on this one? Stuff I use: Emulator II/II+HD,
Emulator III (2x), EIV, Kurzweil K2500S, K5m, D-550, DPX-1, Fairlight
CMI Series III, RY-30, LinnDrum and lots of other stuff. Thanks
for your music and good luck. Don't forget to have fun, too!"
From FaXOrgy: "Great production
(need I say more). You made a 32+ old school techno fiend very
happy. Very clubby with a nicely saturated warehouse ambience.
Make Love to Analog sounds almost amphetamine fueled. Techno
World reminds me a lot of early L.FO./U.H.F/Altern8/Bizzare Inc
etc... ahh nostalgia."
From Jack Cobb: "Yes, that
IS a gorgeous girl... I played UFO (the first, not the NRG remix)
and enjoyed it. My kids were bouncing about (summer, no school,
drat!). I especially enjoyed the thematic shift around two minutes.
It's interesting how much variety one can coax out of repetition!
I'm not (as everyone who knows me knows) a big electronic music
fan. I'm more into organic, bluesy rock with lyrics and attitude
- but this was a fun trip. Thanks for sharing, Divinity, and
best wishes!"
From Adam: "You freakin'
rule... that's all got to say... I have been a raver for 2 years...
stopped all the partying though, but still love to dance and
listen to techno and trance... you bring all the good feelings
back without anything extra but the music... you don't know what
kind of memories that means for me... thanks :) "
From Chris: "Keep me updated
with u're latest. I'm an aspiring DJ and I like u're style. U
just need a little more bass in u're music and u'll be unstoppable."
From M.: "You have some
talent, WOW! Great songs and you have some... er... nice equipment...
but I'm sure you hear that a lot."
From Chris S.: "Thanks for
all the awesome tunes!"
From Chuck: "Just wanted
to let you know that I caught your track, Techno World, on the
charts. It's really great stuff. Keep it up and good luck in
the future."
From Listen.com: "Philadelphia-based
enchantress presents her ever-evolving dance tracks, filled with
original beats and samples. Healthy rhythms layered with plenty
of mass-appealing sonic treasures."
From Anonymous: "It takes
a lot of nerve to call yourself Gorgeous Girl. I gotta' admit
you are easy on the eyes."
From Web Design Monkey: "Gorgeous
Girl, what a name! She has quite a bit of style, has me dancin'
around."
From Allan: "Wow!!! I love
your music! Just beautiful! I'm new into producing music and
you have inspired me definitely. Hope to hear more new tunes
from you."
From Russell: "Hey GG, just
wanted to tell you that I really liked your song, Techno World,
and that I e-mailed it to a lot of my friends... you are totally
awesome and YOU ARE GORGEOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
From Midiboy: "I just listened
to her music... it is awesome... she deserves the $13,000+ she
has made."
From upprs: "Hey there...
luv the music... I'm very picky about techno cuz i'm a metal
head 4-real, but i love to rave........."
From Peter: "Hi Divinity,
I stumbled across your site via AmpCast. I've always loved electronic
music and music with a strong beat but I've never been in the
club scene. I've been piecing together a little electronic music
studio for a few years now and I'm always happy to find information
on how other people work and do things and I think your studio
tips are super great! It's real knowledge and advice that people
of any level can use. And best of all... to top it all off your
music kicks ass!! It's an inspiration to see talented people
succeed in this world."
From Antonio: "I am truly
a lover of all music and I love your music and you."
From Christopher: "It figures,
I just moved to Ohio from Philadelphia and I finally discovered
your music here in Ohio. Too bad or I would have heard you play
there for sure. I lived at 1600 Walnut Street. I think your music
is awesome! Good Luck and let me know if you ever have a gig
in Ohio. Cleveland has some nice clubs that have live acts. Metropolis
in particular."
From Ronnie Matthews aka Captain
Kirk, Starfleet Music Pool & Enterprises: "Got your
CD, HOT! Great dance music! Are you or your company going to
be doing any vinyl on any of these cuts? Very hot cuts on all
of this CD!"
From prankk700: "mmmmmmmmmmmm....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
nice!!!!!!!...... really nice!!!!!"
From Crew (referring to my Sundeck
Divinity photo): "great eyes. cute smile. some view."
From Mike: "WHOOSH EXPRESS
is #1 on www.mp3.com/stations/university20!
Your song is INCREDIBLE."

From Ben: "Let me first
say that I love your music. You produce so many fantastic tracks
and have a lot of talent for creating cool music!"
From Barry: "I just had
a listen to some of your tracks and read your interview on MP3.com,
I especially liked the pictures, you look amazing. Your tracks
are awesome."
From DJ Carlos, CFRC FM 101.9:
"Hello Divinity! Well during my show when I was playing
The Raven and after it was aired I had about 4 calls saying that
they LOVED the sound from Philly and also where could they buy
a copy of your work. I said the site addy and one guy was so
hooked he wanted to know if he could borrow my disc. Hee heee
hee. Well, I'm definitely going to play more of your work, without
a doubt. I like it as does a majority of fans here."
From Dave: "Hey Divinity.
I really like your music, good stuff. Keep it up."
From Greg Rule, Editor in Chief
of Keyboard Magazine: "We've been sifting through the dozens
of contest entries, and yours [Techno World] has made it into
the finalist bin. We haven't picked the first winner yet, but
I wanted you to know that your track was a standout. [two weeks
later] A quick update about our demo contest. Collectively, the
Keyboard staff picked the April issue winner last week, a guy
named Marcus Magellan from Florida. You were one of the finalists,
though.
You should have seen all the editors crammed in my office, dancing
to your
track!"
From Ken: "The new album
sounds great. I have ordered a copy. Hope you tour Ireland at
some point (before you make it too big and the tickets end up
being the £250 that was being asked for Moby and U2 last
month when it sold out in 45 minutes). Only a matter of time
until your albums start being picked up around the clubs over
here."
From Kenne: "Hey Divinity!
OMG!!! Your music is soooo cool!!! I just backed you. I noticed
your message on the forum and let me just say thanks for being
so sweet for trying to help promote other artists by doing this.
You're a STAR and I wish you all the best with your career!"
From TKnFUSION: "Hey I heard
your Halloween groove, it beats."
From Jean-Remy: "Bonjour
! :o) I have just heard some your incredible remixes !! I do
not know if remixing is one of your passions... I am the webmaster
of a french artist named Ysa Ferrer. She is very famous here.
Ysa and I want to open a MP3 gallery with plenty of remixes...
Would you like doing a mix for us ? It is not a commercial proposition.
Only because we have loved your job and we would be proud to
have one of your compositions on ysaferrer dot com. For the moment,
Ysa is working on her third album, Lovarium, wich will be released
at the beginning of next year in Europe and in the US..."
From Gerrit: "wh000000t
U should come to HOLLAND!!!!! Ur Music r0x..... WE NEED U HERE
:) "
From Chuck: "Great Music.....Love
it...Keept rocking..."
From anrkeboy: "Planet Rave
rox!!!!!!!!!! This is so much like the review describes it, a
blast five or so years into the past when all the party music
was high energy, loud and aggressive. great stuff! I can see
why your music gets played so much. You have sick talent!"
From micah: "WOW GORGEOUS....
you're quite good... The Ocarina hits with a bang... Euphoria
and U.F.O. are really good."
From Henry: "Gorgeous Boy
Loves Gorgeous Girl!"
From S.D.S.: (regarding my Moulin
Rouge Halloween costume) "Oh my God! No wonder why you have
so many fans! I hope you have warm weather during your trick-or-treating.
I've been visiting your page for a long time to listen, but I
especially like to see the terrific graphics and page design
that you always have. I like the latest artist pic. Great tunes
too. You'll probably break the 500,000 listen mark tommorrow.
You can't fool that many people!"
From Sneaky Alien: "Hi,
can I marry you? You are beautiful. We can make beautiful techno
together. Seriously, you're cool!"
From Jari Ylamaki aka Yrde: "Your
song, Pulsar, just blows my mind. It's an AWESOME song. So simple
and yet so complex. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!"
From TechnoMonster: "I had
few of your songs on my station. I really dig Metropolis. I dropped
Metropolis at a party a couple months back and people loved it.
I had to remaster it, because you turned off the download option.
I hope you're not mad that I snagged it. Great stuff! I think
you're one of the best female electronic artists!"
From Peter A., O.D.: "HI!
I just want to let you know I heard your music and I like it!
I downloaded six of your MP3's and am making a CD of your stuff!
Thank you for providing this music. I'm amazed that I stumbled
across your music by following a link from PhillyMusic.com, which
I came to from a web site for Marrow, a creative metal band (www.marrowmusic.com)
which I saw in concert at the Lone Star Bar this past September,
along with a group called the Flower Kings. Anyway, in addition
to progressive rock (Flower Kings, Marrow), I enjoy trance and
other dance music, even though I am a very conservative 42 year
old optometrist (eye doctor) and family man. Yeah, I'm in church
every Sunday with the wife and kids, but I love investigating
creative music, especially with the computer. I came accross
Astral Projection via MP3.com and they just blew me away and
now I can say the same for your music! THANKS AGAIN, Gorgeous
Girl!"
From m2o3: "Gorgeous Girl..
I checked out your tunes. God DAYOM, girl!! You got some BANGIN'
beats. :high five: Kudos for your innovative, bootyshakin' beats.
Love it."
From jake-ez: "divinity
iz mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm!!!!!!!!!!"
From Guinesh: "Hi Gorgeous
Girl, I have just seen your promo banner on top of my page. It's
cool that somebody other than twomarlowe is up. Your music is
much better!"
From brainprobe: "Continued
success to you always."
From Casey Moo: "By the
way -- if that's really you in all of the pictures, and I'm guessing
it is, --- you sure are easy on the eyes! -- Plus you have great
musical taste and talent ---a wonderful catch for somebody :)
Gorgeous Girl is an accurate moniker to be sure!"
From djmakke: "Hello there.
Nice stuff you've got. Okay, I'm not into techno that much, but
the tracks I listened to were very good!"
From chrisk23: "was checking
out your site & your music f@#*ing rocks out!! Is the song
Wicked up for remix? if so, we would love a stab at it (me &
my partner are old school rave djs circa 1992!). please let us
know. good luck and to a bright future"
From Helge: "Love your Wicked
(Zah Ah) and I am happy to see your songs climbing the charts
again. Your music is so positive, sexy and vibrating!"
From impella5: "Hunz you

From dj drama: "Hi g girl!

you are a very talented person, your sound is perfect, have you
released any tracks on vinyl???? I want to buy."
From MusikStudioWiz: "Hello
and how are you? I hope you are fine. First and foremost, I would
like to say that if that picture on the album cover is you, you
are PAST GORGEOUS YOU ARE A GODDESS! and to be into music like
that makes you an even more lovely force. I am so proud that
you are putting Philly on the map as far as dance music goes.
All it is known for is its R&B, soul, and rap
and technically you blew it up on MP3.com."
From simbasounds: "What
struck me most about GG (more than her obvious talent, brillance,
and looks) is a remark she made somewhere that had nothing to
do with music (I cannot recall where I read it) - that the most
important thing is to RESPECT EVERYONE whoever they are... I
also get that sense reading her responses on (motifator.com).
That, in a nutshell, tells me WHO she is and why she is where
she is today. No question she will keep growing in all aspects
of her life."
From Robert Kim: "Just wanted
to say nice work on these songs. I especially liked Kinetic Theory.
You've got a fresh approach to life as well as music that is
inspiring. Keep it up."
And now an "un-fan mail"
I created by gluing together the few negative responses I've
received over the years. They all sound the same, so they're
probably written by the same person:
From John: "You think all
of your fame on MTV makes you great? Are you starting to believe
all the shit they say about you? You probably slept with a bunch
of people at MTV to get your songs on their shows! You think
any of these reviews mean anything? People probably just come
to you or come at you because of your looks, not your music!"
Hmmm... I guess this person has
never heard of Britney Spears, Christine Aguilera, or Shakira?
They've got millions of dollars invested in their image. I think
I do pretty well with the limited resources I have. If it's talent
he thinks I lack, let it be known that I can do real-time fader
moves and knob tweaks with the best of them. As for sleeping
with MTV folks, well, you can ask Ozzy Osbourne and his wife
if it's true!
